Internships Available

Apply Here

We would love for any interested flutist between 19-21 years old to apply to intern at an event. Interns will help with set-up, organization, photography, and still get to participate in ensembles and classes. Tuition is waived.

The Flute Summit Vision

Ascend Together

Workshops

Participate in hands-on workshops that focus on technique, performance, and artistry. These sessions are crafted based on the ability level of each Summit’s students, ensuring that every participant can refine their skills and gain new insights on their playing.

Masterclasses

Engage in masterclasses with the faculty who will share their expertise and unique approaches to flute playing. As a listener, students learn from others’ learning, and for performers, this is an opportunity to receive personalized feedback in a hybrid performance experience.

Ensembles

Students will be assigned to either a flute choir or a chamber ensemble, based on the Summit's focus. This opportunity allows them to enhance their abilities in a collaborative setting, specifically regarding intonation, blend, listening in a chamber setting.

Performances

At each Summit, faculty will present a recital featuring standards from the repertoire. Students will culminate their efforts with a final concert, showcasing their work in chamber ensembles and flute choir. This event highlights their musical growth and achievements.
